Long, wavy red hair, skin fair as the moonlight, and dark eyes that hold vast wisdom. Any guess which hero this is?

It's Hurrem, Femme Fatale!

This hero is based on the Ottoman Empire's famous Sultana, and Suleiman's beloved, Hurrem. It is said that Hurrem was originally from Ruthenia (now Ukraine), and was sold to Topkapı Palace as a slave. Her beauty and charm quickly won her Suleiman's attention, and her wits and smarts captured his heart.

Take a look at this translated snippet from a poem Suleiman wrote for Hurrem:

"My woman of the beautiful hair, my love of the slanted brow, my love of eyes full of mischief...
I'll sing your praises always
I, lover of the tormented heart, Muhibbi of the eyes full of tears, I am happy."

Isn't it moving?
Like in a fairytale, Hurrem and Suleiman spent their lives happily ever after, and they were later buried together in the Süleymaniye Mosque.

There are television dramas, musicals, and novels narrating Hurrem's life. Do check them out if you're interested! As for whether the real Hurrem could handle a bow and arrows...well, her love arrow did get to Suleiman!
